Don’t miss the unique exhibit, “A Walk Through Time … From Stardust to Us.” The Hero’s Journey Foundation invites you on a cosmological journey across the five billion year evolution of life on Earth. This one mile walk is being presented on the beautiful campus of the Sisters of St. Joseph of Baden, Baden, PA on Saturday, May 1, 2010 from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. For more information go to http://www.herosjourneyfoundation.org/pages/programs_urbanmountainevents/

The Walk Through Time experience is literally a one mile walk, where each foot represents one million years of evolution. Along the route are 90 colorful, illustrative panels depicting the scientific understanding of life at that point in time. Hero’s Journey Foundation staff will be stationed at the beginning of the walk to give guidance and set the context for a meaningful experience. At the finish there will be an opportunity to talk, reflect, ask questions and enjoy light refreshments.

You will walk on flat ground, tarmac or grass, circling the buildings at St. Joseph's. You can leave the walk at anytime or walk only the last half, or any portion. Walking the whole mile and reading every panel can take between 2 to 4 hours, depending on your pace and time needed to ponder.

Just imagine walking from the birth of the solar system, past the formation of the planets and Earth, seeing life forms appear in the oceans, bacteria, microbes, single cell organisms, multi-cell creatures, animals and plants. Then, on reaching the end, you realize that only a mere 1/10 of an inch represents the time span of our entire human history.

Your perspective could be changed for ever.
