The Hero's Journey Weekend Immersion- October 2010

The Hero’s Journey Four Day Immersion – September 30^th — October 3^rd 2010 

We invite you to join in our Hero’s Journey Four Day Immersion, an introductory experience to the Hero’s Journey, offered in an awe-inspiring natural setting on the highest point in West Virginia.

The Four Day Immersion offers men and women the opportunity to experience some of our most compelling Hero’s Journey adventures, to have profound and meaningful openings within the limits of a long weekend time frame. Men’s and women’s groups will share the mountain—with separate experiences for each group during the day and some shared community experiences in the evening.

Participants will have the opportunity to:

• Practice living in a "Here & Now” experience, which can transport one outside of the realm of ordinary time, and create expansive and transformational moments of timelessness and unity.
• Join together with others to create a supportive, dynamic and festive sense of community participation, while taking on personal adventures and challenges for one’s self.
• Participate in moving and awe-producing ritual spaces that have been carried forth from ancient traditions around the world.
• Experience a deep sense of communion with the beauty and healing power of nature.
• Feel both the edge and then the ecstasy of approaching at least one self-imposed limitation, and then moving beyond it!

Site: The Mountain Institute in Circleville, WV

Arrival Time: 4 pm Thursday, September 30^th.

Departure Time: 2 pm Sunday, October 3^rd.

Cost: $695 (Includes all meals, access fees, and camping site. Dorm lodging available for a small fee.)
