Hero's Journey Integration Program

The Hero’s Journey Integration Program, available to Hero’s Journey Summer Intensive alumnae only, is offered to support you in bringing your Hero’s Journey mountaintop experience home to take root in your everyday life. You are invited to join with those men or women you journeyed with in WV in a four month integration process, guided by Hero's Journey facilitators, to help you bring what really matters into the soil of your life as it is.

The program is designed to support ongoing community involvement in this vital task and includes the following elements:
  • Short inspirational readings and reflective questioning
  • Recorded meditations and daily awareness exercises
  • Support for ongoing email conversation
  • Monthly teleconference meetings to reflect on the blessing and trials of living the Journey at home.
  • A monthly Integration Guide of teachings and poetry will be given to direct our attention to key explorations of the re-integration phase of the Hero’s Journey cycle.
The Integration Program will be held as separate communities for men and for women. Each group will share in the collective readings and meditations yet will have their own personal processing space. We will live into vital questions as these:

How do I bring the depth of a transformational experience to the conditions
and to the people in my daily life?

How do I bring an authentic and heroic response to the pressing matters
in my life at home?

How do I learn to think mythically about my personal life story and connect it with
a larger and meaningful universe story?

How do I stay connected to the energies that sustain inspired living?

How do I stay connected to the men or women I journeyed with?

How much time and work is involved?

This program is intended to support your return to your daily life, not add additional burden to it. Each monthly Integration Guide is about 4- 6 pages in length. The daily meditations can be used as you see fit. Each month, you will be asked to offer a brief written response to one or two questions that will focus your attention on various elements of the Integration phase of the Hero’s Journey cycle. And participate in a monthly 75-minute teleconference council. Teleconference calls to be arranged at the most convenient day and time for your group.

How do the Teleconference Calls work?

We use a free teleconference service that requires you pay only the standard long-distance charges for the call. You will receive the call-in number, along with a PIN access code, before each call. No special equipment required.

How do I access the Recorded Meditation?

These will be sent straight to your computer and are easily downloaded for use on any computer or mp3 player device.

Tuition and Registration:

Tuition for the entire four-month program is $300, payable by personal check or online.

Registration deadline: Aug. 28 for Men’s Program / Sept. 4 for Women’s Program.
